Covid-19 rules and measures!

updated: June 21st, 09:45PM

Dear guests,

We are very pleased to announce that the Covid measures in Austria have been relaxed.

One thing is certain, personal responsibility and consideration remain the most important companions. We have summarized the most important regulations for you below. Under the motto careful - safe - gentle, together we ensure carefree holidays.

Gastronomy and hotels in the Kleinwalsertal

You no longer need G-proof (vaccinated, recovered or tested) for gastronomy or accommodation. So you no longer have to show proof of G upon arrival. However, it is up to all companies themselves whether they want to continue to maintain stricter measures, such as 2G.

Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal mountain railways

With the OK Bergbahnen you no longer need a "G-proof".

Mask requirement

The general obligation to wear FFP2 masks in Austria in all public transport and indoors has been eliminated since June 1st. (Domestic rights - can be handled individually by each company)

Wearing a mask is recommended on the mountain railways

In the Walserbus on the German side (after the "Walserschanz" stop), FFP2 masks are still mandatory.

Let's enjoy the mountain summer with consideration and understanding, then we can have a good time together and enjoy the valley we all love so much.

We wish you a pleasant and relaxing stay

Yours Sandra Haller

with the whole Walserhof team
