HOSPITALITY OVER GENERATIONS
The first generation of the Sätteles, led by senior partner Heidi Wirz-Sättele, built the Walserhof in 1968. Coletta Sättele took on management of the hotel in the mid-1990s and continuously developed the hotel’s concept. Now in the hands of the third generation, the Patscheider family, Tamara (née Sättele) and Lukas are reinventing the Walserhof – without forgetting its roots and without losing the down-to-earth attitude.

For us at the Walserhof, sustainability and environmental protection are not just trendy terms, but an important part of our life and work. As people, parents and gastronomes, we have recognised the large responsibility we have towards our home and the next generations.
Environmental protection on holiday? For you, it is a few days of relaxation – for us, the daily ecological footprint. Therefore, it is important to us to take each step conscientiously and carefully, starting with saving plastic by using ecological cleaning materials to reducing the washing quantity in the spa area.
To us, handling our valuable food in a manner that protects resources also means using fewer but high-quality meat products from species-appropriate husbandry. Here, herbal food is not an extra request, but our life philosophy and credo! You will not find products from large groups here – we work with local partners and suppliers.
Motivated for this important subject, we constantly strive to shape a future as an environmentally friendly hotel.
